There are tons of places to look for craft ideas. Look for them in magazines, books, the internet, or even look around your home. Anything can spark an idea.

A great way to stop ribbon from fraying is to take a match and lightly burn the end of the cut ribbon. This will melt the ribbon, not scorch it, and will keep it from fraying.

Save the leftover and ugly bits of polymer clay to make bead cores. This is great when you are planning on covering a bead with cane slices, you don't have to waste good clay.

Remember to wash any residue out of your paint brushes so they are ready for the next craft project. You can always use a little bit of hand soap to keep them in good condition.
